Just caused the bootloop error, the Windows 11 update continues to break the Taskbar

Windows 11 updates often have a “scandal” of being accompanied by many bugs. The recent June 2024 update preview (serial number KB5039302) has caused many users to experience bootloop errors (continuous reboot errors) on Windows 11, which seems to be very bad, but recently, this same update created an error affecting the Taskbar.

At least this bug has been discovered and published by Microsoft on the Windows Release Health Dashboard page, and the company says it is investigating an issue in which the Taskbar cannot function properly. under certain conditions. Microsoft has noticed that this issue affects PCs that use the N version of Windows or machines that have Media Features turned off.

Windows N is basically the same as other standard versions of Windows in that it doesn’t include any features and technologies related to multimedia entertainment such as Windows Media Player and other entertainment applications that are often installed with the operating system.

The company says that if you are affected by this issue, you will not be able to interact with the taskbar but the software and features other Windows devices are still working normally. Microsoft said that this bug affects Windows 11 versions 22H2 and 23H2, the company is working on a patch that will be rolled out in the near future, but there is no specific timeline.

Just causing the bootloop error, the Windows 11 update continues to corrupt the Taskbar- Photo 1.

Notably, Microsoft has updated the Windows Release Health Dashboard to add more information regarding the bootloop issue affecting certain PCs. Instead of pausing the rollout of the preview update to everyone, the company only paused it for “vulnerable” devices. As a result, KB5039302 will no longer be available to Hyper-V virtual machines running on servers with a “certain” processor type – however, The company has not yet released a list of affected processors.
