Unihertz, a brand specializing in the production of micro-sized smartphones, has opened a Kickstarter fundraiser for the world’s smallest 5G phone called Jelly Max.
According to Unihertz, with a wide range of 5G network frequencies and bands, the Jelly Max is a good choice for users who need a compact device and a reliable Internet connection to access the 5G network.
Jelly Max is equipped with a 5.05-inch LCD screen, which is smaller than the iPhone 13 Mini, a screen resolution of 720 x 1,520 and a perforated selfie camera design.
Despite its small size, the photography parameters of the Jelly Max are still impressive with a system of 3 rear cameras, including a 32 MP front camera, the main sensor on the device with a resolution of up to 50 MP and an 8 MP telephoto lens.
The configuration of the Jelly Max is also not bad with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 standard storage.
Compared to its predecessor, the Jelly Star, the Jelly Max will be a significant performance upgrade with a 54% faster CPU, 87% faster GPU, 36% faster memory, and up to 30% performance improvement.
Despite its compact body, the Jelly Max has a battery of up to 4,000 mAh and according to the manufacturer, users can make calls, browse the web, play games or perform other tasks comfortably throughout the day. The device is also equipped with 66 W fast charging, with a charging speed of up to 90% in just 20 minutes.
Currently, there is no information about the specific price and launch date of Jelly Max. Unihertz is expected to start delivering Jelly Max from October with a starting price of $199.
