The Apple Watch Series 10 will have significant improvements in screen size, design, and performance. However, Apple has encountered some hiccups in its plans to launch new health features.

Recently, in the Power On report, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said that Apple will make major changes in this year’s Apple Watch improvement.
Accordingly, the Apple Watch Series 10 series will have a screen, a thinner design, and faster performance than its predecessor.
Gurman also revealed one of two more Apple Watch Series 10 models, codenamed N217 and N218, which will have a larger screen this year. Either will have a large screen that is almost the size of the screen on the Apple Watch Ultra.
Previously, in a report published on Medium, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the next-generation Apple Watch screen will increase from 41 mm to 45 mm and from 45 mm to 49 mm. At the same time, this year’s Apple smartwatch model will also be designed to be thinner.
In addition to the design and screen, the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will also be equipped with a more powerful processor than their predecessors.
While this could lay the groundwork for some future AI improvements, Gurman said Apple currently has “no plans” to bring all of Apple Intelligence features to the Apple Watch.
Despite many improvements, Apple has encountered some hiccups in its plans for new health features. Previous reports revealed that the Apple Watch Series 10 will add blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea.
Despite this, according to Bloomberg, Apple has made progress on this feature since 2023, but since then it has “encountered some serious glitches”.
Specifically, the source revealed that the hypertension technology on the Apple Watch “is not as reliable as expected during testing”. Reliability issues may force Apple to postpone the release of this feature until 2025.
Bloomberg has reported that the 2024 Apple Watch may be named “Apple Watch X” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the birth of the Apple Watch. Expected to be launched in 2024 or 2025, the device will be significantly thinner, using a magnet mechanism to attach the strap to help save space.
