HMD Skyline, a smartphone with a design style similar to the legendary Lumia 920, is about to be launched in the near future.
As previously reported, HMD Global is developing a new smartphone called HMD Skyline. The Nokia Lumia 920-inspired design of this product was leaked earlier this month. Recently, details about the Skyline’s internal configuration have been revealed through a listing on the Geekbench website.
According to the Geekbench list, the phone comes with a motherboard codenamed “Tomcat”, owns 8GB of RAM and an 8-core processor, of which 4 cores operate at 1.96 GHz and the other 4 cores have a speed of 2.40 GHz. Based on these details, it is likely that the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.
Besides the processor, the Geekbench listing also confirms that the device will launch with the Android 14 operating system. In terms of performance, Skyline scored 1027 points in the single-core test and 2857 points in the multi-core test.
While the Geekbench listing doesn’t provide any other details, some of the Skyline HMD specs have been revealed earlier.
Based on previous reports, the HMD Skyline will have an FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. In terms of cameras, the device is said to debut with a 108MP main camera, combined with an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a third lens that could be macro or insensitiveto depth. The front camera of the device is said to have a resolution of 32MP.
The Skyline is expected to be powered by a 4,900mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device is also said to come with stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and dust resistance, IP67 standard water. Although the price has not been confirmed, rumors suggest that the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version could cost around 520 Euros (about 14.2 million VND).
