According to the IT Home news site from China, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will be larger in size, but the thickness remains the same as its predecessor.
The information is based on drawings of 4 iPhone 16 models. Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro measures 149.61 x 71.45 x 8.25 mm. For comparison, the dimensions of the iPhone 15 Pro are 146.6 x 70.6 x 8.25 mm.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max measures 163.03 x 77.58 x 8.25 mm, which is larger than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (159.9 x 76.7 x 8.25 mm).
With the other 2 versions, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are almost the same size as their predecessors when the thickness remains the same, the length and width are only 0.02-0.05 mm different.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a longer battery than the previous generation. The device also uses a larger camera sensor (1/1.14 inch) and a new telephoto camera. The above improvements may cause the product to increase in size.

With the standard iPhone 16, the biggest change on the product comes from the rear camera cluster arranged vertically, supporting 360-degree video recording for Vision Pro glasses.
Previously, rumors said that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max would have the thinnest screen bezels ever. According to leaker Setsuna Digital on Weibo, the screen bezel on the iPhone 16 Pro can be reduced by up to 40%, helping to increase the touch rate.
Specifically, the screen bezel of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is only 1.15 mm, while the iPhone 16 Pro is 1.2 mm. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro has a bezel of 1.71 mm, while the iPhone 14 Pro is 2.15 mm.
According to Gizmochina, the size of the product mentioned by the leaker is slightly different from the latest rumors. As it is still in the development stage, this may not be an official specification.
